Simon Commander: The Connections World – The Future of Asian Capitalism

HUN-REN CERS, Institute of World Economics cordially invites you to the presentation of SIMON COMMANDER on 19 October 2023, at 10:00.

The Connections World: The Future of Asian Capitalism

Simon Commander will talk about his book co-authored with Saul Estrin (Simon Commander – Saul Estrin: The Connections World: The Future of Asian Capitalism, Cambridge University Press) which tackles some of the most important issues of modern times: how Asia has managed to grow and develop and what are its prospects in the coming decades? Will the 21st century belong to Asia – as some have argued – or will its economies falter as major fragilities are exposed?

Venue: 1097 Budapest, Tóth Kálmán utca 4. / T. / 3rd floor / Room 24.

The discussion will be held in hybrid form.

We kindly ask you to sign up for either online or in-presence participation on the following e-mail address: vgi.titkarsag@krtk.elte.hu by 12 October 2023 (Thursday).

We are looking forward to welcoming you at our event either online or in person!
